What will you see?

There will come a moment, a time, a place where you will look back at the life you created. And when that day comes, what will you see, beautiful one? What will you see?

Will you have followed your dreams? Will your own voice, your own visions, your own heart have been your guiding light—or will you have given away your power to the wishes and demands of others? Will you have fallen pray to living an unfulfilled life on the outskirts of authenticity, perhaps being partly what you longed to be, but never fully claiming that juicy creative life, which was meant to be your story.

Will you have honored the faint whispers of your heart? Will you have followed the path of your Soul? Will the journey you have been on reflect who you know you are, at your core?

What will you see, beautiful one? What will you see?

Will the stories you have told be about who you are deep within your bones, or be fabricated lies created in an endless stream of days living mindlessly, while ignoring the gift of creativity you got the moment you entered this life.

Are the footsteps you have placed on this Earth walked with passion or have you dragged your feet secretly wishing you were somewhere else—perhaps even someone else?

What will you see, beautiful one? What will you see?

Will you have danced a vibrant dance with life itself—even though the music might sometimes have been faint? Will you have had the courage to dance on the days you could not hear any music at all?

What will you see, beautiful one? What will you see?

Have your life been filled with people with love in their hearts, joy in their steps and depth in their eyes? Or have you been too afraid of pain to choose joy’s invitation to risk your heart on the alter of love, and so you chose to simply let love come and go randomly, carelessly as if the kinds of Souls you shared your life with were out of your control?

What will you see, beautiful one? What will you see?

Will you have taken the opportunities to heal that life presented you with—or will you have clung to your old stories too afraid to grow, to learn and to let go of the misery that you had come to know so well.

In the end the question will be; did you chose fear or love? Because when it is all said and done that is all there is; fear or love.

What will you see, beautiful one. When you stand on the last day of your life? What will you see?
